The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is the upcoming eighth studio album by American rapper Eminem.

Eminem discussed the album in an interview with New York radio station Hot 97, with host Peter Rosenberg on May 24, 2012. During the interview he also confirmed that hip hop supergroup Slaughterhouse would be performing at Hot 97's Summer Jam. Eminem said:"I'm kinda getting into my next record a little bit." On June 30, 2012, Eminem talked about the album with DJ Whoo Kid, on Eminem's radio station, Shade 45. He said the material was taking shape and that his mentor Dr. Dre would be involved in the process.
